“Now the God of peace … Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is well pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.” Hebrews 13:20,21 KJV
Both Miguel and Linda found Christ in their teenage years. They entered full time missions with the same agency, Christians in Action, where they met and married. As long term missionaries in Latin America, their focus is now supporting others in their callings.
For many years they have given oversight to 17 churches in Guatemala, and 8 congregations throughout El Salvador, Honduras and Panama. The leadership in Guatemala is healthy and stable, allowing for Miguel and Linda to enter a door opened to them to move to Ecuador at the beginning of 2026.
After some time of sabbatical rest and refreshing (approx. three months), Miguel and Linda see themselves being used in similar roles as before: teaching, encouraging local pastors and workers, evangelizing and discipleship, and networking with a web of ministries in Ecuador. The welcome in Ecuador has been phenomenal, as Miguel has had ministry ties to people and places there over the years.
“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” 2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV
