Immutable Love

“Where is there another God like you, who forgives the guilt of the remnant and overlooks the sins of his precious people? You will not remain angry with your people forever, for you delight to show your unfailing love. You will again have compassion on us; you will crush our sins under your feet and cast them into the depths of the ocean!” Micah 7:18-19

Why Immutable Love? Because despite all that we may go through in this fallen world, God delights in loving us!

Immutable Love is a ministry located in the south of Ecuador where Paola and her daughter have been working to share the unchanging love of God to people in a town of 30,000 inhabitants where less than 1% are believers.

This beautiful ministry began in the heart of God over a decade ago, when as a family they moved from the city to an unreached place to start a church. As the church grew and seasons changed, new leadership was appointed and that church is still going strong today under the care of a local pastor. At that time Paola once again sought the Lord for His will for her life and once again He drew her close. In a retreat with her daughter Camila, seeking the direction of the Father, in a miraculous way He opened the doors for them to continue in the missionary field.

Because He is love, and only His unchanging love restores everything, it is from this place that Immutable Love was birthed. With a change of location to a new mission field, not knowing anyone, Paola and Camila trusted God once again and immediately started to see open doors for ministry. God’s loving care is allowing them to meet people who are welcoming them to share about the wonderful promises of our good Savior.

Paola and Camila are now discipling a group of women with an emphasis on the character of God. Their passion is to see lives transformed for the glory of His Holy name and therefore be a part of the great commission in this place. Their dream is also to see another church according to the heart of God be raised up so that many will find salvation and a family where we can all walk in the love of our Heavenly Father and persevere together, encouraging each other and waiting for the soon return of our beloved Savior.

“In the heart of the Lord Jesus, the first missionary who came to show us the Father, He left us a task for every believer, and that is to make disciples of all nations. Jesus not only left us a church, but He asked us to be the Church, and that is the engine of this mission, to make disciples, who know their Savior personally, to listen to His voice as sheep of His pasture, to walk in obedience and holiness to His voice through the Scriptures.” – Paola
