Filipino Fellowship for Christ – Edgar & Eunice Ayuman

And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. — Mark 16:15 KJV

Edgar and Eunice’s mission is to reach the growing community of Filipinos working on Okinawa Island, their fellow countrymen, as well as Japanese locals. In conjunction with their ministry, Edgar and Eunice served for 15 years at the New life academy in Early Childhood. Edgar continues to serve the New Life Academy while Eunice has now transferred to the Child Development Center of Okinawa International Science and Technology (OIST).

The vision Edgar and Eunice are currently pioneering is to establish a Filipino Church where overseas workers and Japanese locals are both welcomed. This gathering is called, Filipino Fellowship For Christ in Okinawa. Their heart’s desire is to gather Filipino workers and others to provide a place where they belong and can grow in their faith. Many overseas workers give up so much to take work in Okinawa, being away from their families is one of the greatest sacrifices.

Edgar and Eunice are committed to sharing the love and forgiveness of Jesus Christ through His teachings and giving words of encouragement. Filipino Fellowship For Christ provides opportunities where people can grow in their faith through fellowship and a deeper understanding of the Word of God. Through discipleship, they hope to make disciples that will also go and disciple others.

19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen. — Matthew 28:19-20 KJV
