His DeLIGHT was founded on a powerful revelation from Psalm 37:4: “Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart.” For Cassie, the founder, this verse was a turning point in her journey with Christ when she first encountered this scripture in 2011. It was the beginning of her truly surrendering to Jesus. Her journey started with seeking happiness in the Lord so He could give her her heart’s desires. As her relationship with God deepened, her desires transformed into His desires, and she discovered that by delighting in Him, He became her desire and she became His delight!
This powerful revelation continues to shape her life and ministry. Cassie lives passionately to delight in Jesus, to reflect His light in the world, and empower others to do the same through communion with God.
Through her ministry, His DeLIGHT, Cassie partners with other ministries to:

Ministry partnerships and roles include:
- Kaleo: Cassie serves as a missionary with Kaleo, living on the Texas-Mexico border. She travels domestically and globally to train and encourage others through Kaleo’s missions, leadership and fire schools.
- Kairos: Cassie works in marketplace ministry through Kairos Coffee Catering. By catering a coffee bar at events, they get to go into all kinds of places around the Rio Grande Valley. Here, business and missions have the same goals, spreading the love and light of Jesus wherever they go.
- Wayforward: Cassie is a residential support team member with Wayforward, with many opportunities to minister to people at the apartments where she lives. She does this through weekly outreaches, Bible studies, and being available for God to use her to be a light and voice of encouragement to anyone in need.
His DeLIGHT faithfully serves and equips God’s delighted ones to be empowered by the Holy Spirit, to share the Good News of Jesus and their testimonies so all can delight in knowing they are His delight and have true relationship with God.
His DeLIGHT is passionate about helping sons and daughters walk in their God-given purposes, callings and identities to reflect Jesus and being a light in the darkness to further the kingdom of God around the world.
