Endless Pursuit

“But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong.” – 2 Corinthians 12:9-10

Harper Foriest grew up in Tennessee as the ninth of twelve children. Since the age of five, she knew God was beckoning her heart to the mission field. Fellowship School of Creative Arts was her foundation in dancing, helping disciple her in how to use the gift of movement as a form of worship. Over the years, Harper has partnered with Ballet Magnificat, Arrows International, and Zion Dance Project, among other organizations, to use her gifts in dance and art to worship God and serve others. God created us to create and each time we do, we learn more about Him as THE Creator.

Through an extended and ongoing season of health challenges and learning to rest and rely on God, Harper knows well the truth that God’s grace is sufficient for her and worship is all about a heart posture. This is a message of hope she takes with her wherever she goes.

In January of 2023, God connected Harper with the director of Transformación Ballet in Guatemala. Harper initially served as a prayer partner and later had the opportunity to assistant lead one of their international student trainings. This has now led to her moving to Guatemala to serve full time as a Teacher for Dance and Fine Arts for Worship.

“My goal is to focus my eyes on Jesus alone as my Savior and to be an example of a fully-dependent life on the Lord to the students I interact with. I am eager to see how the Lord will work through me to expand His Kingdom and lead His children in worship to him!” – Harper
