A Profound Mystery

In Ephesians 5:32, Paul describes the “profound mystery . . . Christ and the Church.” Marriage was designed by God to reflect His love to the world, therefore our marriages are one of God’s best tools for evangelism. When not actively working with couples, they each disciple individuals who desire to grow in their understanding of Scripture.

“Make disciples . . .” (Mt 28:19) is a phrase the Greers take very seriously. Having served outside the U.S. and interacting regularly with those on the mission field, they have gained an understanding of the individual and marital challenges that come with mission ministry.

Currently, they serve in re|engage, the marriage ministry at Beltway Park Church in Abilene, Texas, as well as in other discipleship ministry roles. At the same time, the Lord is opening doors for them to minister internationally, with a strong focus on marriage ministry and pastoral care. Their hope is that their own personal and ministry experiences can offer encouragement and hope to others, wherever the Lord leads them.

Ministry History:

Dennis and Brenda have served in discipleship ministry for almost four decades, both in the churches they have attended in the U.S. and in England. More than 20 years of their ministry have been devoted to shepherding and mentoring married and premarital couples. Throughout their time in ministry, they have initiated and taught Bible studies and spoken at several marriage conferences. While living in England for almost two years, Dennis served as an interim pastor in two different churches. Brenda has a background in women’s ministry, which has provided her with many opportunities. The common denominators of their ministries have been discipleship, personal relationships, and the study and application of God’s Word.
