John and Suzanna Hyrons have had a dream of building an elderly home for over 25 years. There is a great need for care and housing facilities in Macau for the 44,000 people over the age of 65 years old.
Land has already been acquired for this project, with over 35,000,000 Hong Kong dollars (4.5 million US dollars) being raised in only 14 months to make this purchase possible. Once the name on the deed is changed to Christians In Action Elderly Home, construction can begin. This has already been a long drawn out process, but in the waiting they are building up their reserve funds that are required to see the building project started.
