Ministry Trip
Where? Jerusalem, Israel.
When? March 24-26, 2012.
Details: We leave the USA on March 24 and arrive in Tel Aviv on Mar. 25. We will go directly to Jerusalem Hills Inn to stay with our friends there and get caught up on what they have been doing this past year.
Ministering
Where? Osafia, Israel.
When? March 26-29, 2012.
Details: Jase will pick us up and take us to their home on the 26th. We will visit with the Wilson family and see what new things God has in store for them.
Travel
Where? Travel to Entebbe, Uganda.
When? March 30.
Details: Travel through Addis Ababa, Ethiopia to get to Entebbe. The flight leaves just after midnight and arrives in Entebbe at 1pm. So basically we will have been up all night, again for travel.
Ministry and Sharing
Where? Kampala, Uganda.
When? March 30-April 1.
Details: We will stay with some of the missionaries in Kampala and go to one of the local churches to worship on Sunday.
Pouring into the Missionaries
Where? Fort Portal, Uganda.
When? April 1-5.
Details: We will travel to Fort Portal to help with the annual retreat for the WGM missionaries. Rick and Janie have agreed to minister to the teens on this one. Please pray for our hearts and theirs to be fully open to all that the Spirit of God wants to do during this week.
Partnering in the local ministries
Where? Kampala, Uganda.
When? April 5-8.
Details: Back in Kampala, we will be meeting with our new ministry partner, Barb. She has a ministry to widows and orphans where she trains the women to sew, feeds many kids, sponsors school fees, and helps in a nearby orphanage as a nurse. We will also be picking Doug up at the airport to join us for the rest of our trip.
Agriculture opportunities
Where? Jinja and Buvuma Island.
When? April 9.
Details: We will travel out to Buvuma Island to show Doug the island work and get his expertise and plans for agriculture ministry on their plot of land.
Going into New Territories
Where? Yei, South Sudan.
When? April 10-11.
Details: We will fly to Yei and meet our friends from Arua at the YWAM base there. We will explore their ministries, check out the medical clinic, school, and the area for agriculture projects. We will scout the area and visit some of the other ministries.
Travel by Road back to Uganda
Where? S. Sudan to Arua, Uganda.
When? April 12.
Details:We will be traveling back to Arua with Bosco by road. The roads are not good and can take quite a lot of time, so please pray for travel mercies and favor and good God conversation all the way.
Ministry back in Uganda
Where? YWAM base in Arua, Uganda.
When? April 12-14.
Details:We will get back to Uganda and visit with the missionaries in Arua for these last two days. We will show Doug the area they have been using for agriculture so he can give them options for finding the full potential for their land and minister to those at the base.
Travel home
Where? Arua to Entebbe, Entebbe to Amsterdam, Amsterdam to Detroit, Detroit to Kansas City.
When? April 14-15.
Details:We fly out that morning for Entebbe and wait until just before midnight to board the first flight home. We will fly for around 20 hours and several hours of lay overs in between.
