Mesilāh

And even they [Israel], if they do not remain in unbelief, will be grafted in, because God has the power to graft them in again. Romans 11:23

Because God desires that all would not perish, but that all would be saved through Jesus, Mesilāh is committed to joining the Great Commission through bringing the Gospel to the Jewish and Middle Eastern people in word and deed through music, art, hospitality, and discipleship with the hope of God’s promise that one day all nations will worship Him!

Mesilāh’s goal is to participate in reaching the Jewish and Middle Eastern communities in the lands of their heritages as well as throughout the nations of the earth while also discipling others to do the same. Their deep desire is to see Jewish and Middle Eastern people come to know the mercy of Jesus in such a way that they are compelled to receive Him, and to share Him with others.Their primary focus of international outreach is in Israel, but opportunities for outreach have also, at times, extended into other Middle Eastern nations. They are also actively involved in outreach to the people of Jewish and Middle Eastern heritage who are living in America.

Each year Mesilāh hosts multiple ministry trips to Israel by leading groups of Believers to share the Gospel with the lost and strengthen the indigenous Believers as they serve both Jewish and Arab communities. Their outreaches are diverse, and have included opportunities such as: humanitarian aid and events for Holocaust Survivors, serving Arab medical patients from impoverished communities, discipleship and trauma-informed care at a women’s shelter, VBS for Jewish & Arab children, delivering meals to the elderly and widows, visiting orphans, and outreach on the streets through music and conversation. Mesilāh chooses to partner with longterm, indigenous ministries who they come alongside in order to serve and strengthen their ongoing work. They also are intentional to minister to indigenous Believers through gatherings designed for them to receive restoration and encouragement through hospitality and prayer.

In America, Mesilāh hosts multi-cultural music events focused on hospitality and building relationships with those from Jewish and Middle Eastern heritages. These community gatherings provide a place for those who do not yet know Jesus to experience the love of God within a community of Believers, grow in curiosity toward God as they see Him in the lives of Believers, and hear the Gospel as God opens the door to intentional conversations.

Mesilāh also works in collaboration with creatives to develop intentional tools for outreach through music, visual art, and other creative mediums. These initiatives are developed through identifying where specific needs within Jewish and Middle Eastern communities can be met through the Body of Christ Jesus by those with creative gifts collaborating to serve the needs of the community.

Mesilāh recognizes the Great Commission is not the call of a few, but is the call of all who have given their lives to Jesus. It is through financial generosity, consistency in prayer, and unity in serving that Mesilāh is able to accomplish their work to reach the Jewish and Middle Eastern people with the proclamation of the mercy of God found in His Son, Jesus.

On that day there will be a highway [mesilāh] from Egypt to Assyria. Assyria will go to Egypt, Egypt to Assyria, and Egypt will worship with Assyria. On that day Israel will form a triplealliance with Egypt and Assyria – a blessing within the land. The LORD of Armies will bless them, saying, “Egypt my people, Assyria my handiwork, and Israel my inheritance are blessed. – Isaiah 19:23-25

A voice of one crying out: Prepare the way of the LORD in the wilderness; make a straight highway [mesilāh] for our God in the desert. Every valley will be lifted up, and every mountain and hill will be leveled; the uneven ground will become smooth and the rough places, a plain. And the glory of the LORD will appear, and all humanity together will see it, for the mouth of the LORD has spoken. – Isaiah 40:3-5

The Lord does not delay his promise, as some understand delay, but is patient with you, not wanting any to perish but all to come to repentance. – 2 Peter 3:9

For God loved the world in this way: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son – John 3:16-17
