My Uganda Inheritance

In 2019 Elizabeth moved to Jinja, Uganda, and served two years at an orphanage, ministering in her calling to young children. In 2021, the Lord shifted her to Northern Uganda to a mission field of greater family brokenness and human suffering after Joseph Kony’s decades reign of terror as recently as the mid-2010s. The emotional war wounds in this culture are still very heavy. Elizabeth served World Embrace for nearly two years, but in late 2022 she shifted her attention back to ministering to children as part of the Gulu GlobeTrotters leadership team. GGT is an international homeschool cooperative comprised of approximately 60-70% Ugandans, and the remainder being international aid organization and missionary children. Elizabeth is teaching a daily Bible class to younger elementary children; ministering to the teachers and support staff comprised primarily of single mothers; and assisting with administrative needs in the school.
